Let's face it: I can't change this entire world by myself! If I really want to stop hunger, I need your help. You can create your own non-profit organization to raise awareness and money! Here are some things you have to know before starting your business:
Let's start with the basics. You won't be making any money from this. Not one cent of your earnings belongs to you. It is a non-profit organization, which means no profit will go to you. If that doesn't sound appealing to you, a non-profit organization might not be up your alley.
You are going to need to do a lot of planning before your event. How will you get the food, drinks, or objects you are going to sell? How much do you need to charge for your product? Where are you going to set up business? Who are you going to donate the money to after your business is done? These are all things to consider when starting your business.
My advice to my entrepreneurs out there:
-Don't charge too much for your profit! People will not want to buy it, which means you will loose money.
-Bake or make! (Keep the items you sell homemade. It's healthier and more appealing to customers)
-Set up your business stand at an event where many people will be in need of your product.
-I recommend donating your profits to an animal or homeless shelter or to a food bank.
-Make sure your customers know you are a non-profit organization! They will likely buy more of your product.
-Be kind to all of your customers! It will make your business look even better!
